Dilan started his rowing career at Rockford in 2008. He rowed for four years, medaled at the Canadian Secondary Scholastic Rowing regatta, and placed at nationals two different years. Coach Itter has been successfully coaching for Rockford for over 7 years, with the last 3 as Head Coach. He is lifeguard certified, and CPR and First Aid certified
Coach Tucker Anderson
Men’s Head Coach
Tucker started rowing as a freshmen at Rockford in the fall of 2004. Where after finishing his freshmen year at the bottom of the team, he soon wanted more. After growing mentally and physically over the next 3 years, he decided to continue rowing Grand Valley State University. Where in addition to earning a degree, he was able to train and compete at a high level. Competing in regattas across the country and internationally including Head of the Charles, The Dad Vail Regatta, and the Henley Royal Regatta in Henley, UK. He also served on the Grand Valley Rowing Board as the Treasurer. Tucker has helped out in the Spring season with the JV and novice teams since 2013.
Coach Jeff Garant
Jeff was introduced to rowing in 1988, rowed 4 years for Gibraltar Carlson from 1989-1992. This was when erg pieces were 2500 meters and most of our boats were wood. You can actually see one of the boats I rowed in hanging in TGIF in Ann Arbor. ( The Pete Tank)
In 2008, Jeff joined the Indianapolis Rowing Club Masters Team and competed nationally during spring and fall seasons until 2010. In 2015, Jeff moved back to Michigan and was a volunteer coach for Forest Hills Northern during their 2016 and 2017 seasons. In 2017, Jeff moved to Rockford Michigan and joined the Rockford Rowing Team as an assistant coach. Jeff is looking forward to helping out with the 2018 season.
