Coach Anna Erickson – Assistant Coach

Anna started rowing fall of her sophomore year at Rockford in 2012. After a rocky start as a novice in the fall she decided to fully commit herself to the sport. So, after conditioning all winter she was able to excel in her first spring season of 2013 and earned her varsity letter. During her rowing career she earned state championships, placed twice at Midwest, and was a finalist at Nationals her junior year – none of which would have been possible without the amazing support from the coaching staff and her hardworking teammates. After graduating in 2015 as a 3 year varsity rower she declined offers to row in college and decided to stay at home with her family and to become more involved in her community. While attending Grand Rapids Community College, Anna started as a novice coach in the fall of 2015. Anna is First Aid, CPR, and AED certified and also has a certificate in Concussion Awareness.
