Athlete Code of Conduct

I the undersigned student-athlete agree to the below:

  1. I will place academic achievement as the highest priority and remain eligible for the entirety of the season.

  2. I will show respect for teammates, opponents, officials and coaches.

  3. I will maintain a high level of safety awareness.

  4. I will refrain from the use of profanity, vulgarity and other offensive language and gestures.

  5. I will refrain from the use of alcohol, tobacco, illegal and non-prescriptive drugs, anabolic steroids or any substance to increase physical development of performance that is not approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, Surgeon General of the United States or American Medical Association.

I am aware that deviation from the above can be subject to the below at the coaches and athletic offices discretion: 

  1. Removal from priority boats 

  2. Removal from leadership positions 

  3. Volunteer Requirements

  4. Probation from races 

  5. Loss of varsity letter for that season 

  6. Suspension from the team 

  7. Removal from the team
