Middle School Rowing

Middle School Rowing is an introductory rowing program for 6th to 8th graders at North Rockford Middle School and East Rockford Middle School.

Our aim is for middle school students to a fun time outdoors on the water while getting some exercise and learning the basic rowing techniques.

Try out a new and unique sport this spring or build upon the skills you have already learned. Our coaching staff will help students learn and reinforce the fundamentals of the rowing stroke on land and water. Students will also be learning how to handle equipment and build confidence and comfort on the water.

If you have a middle school student searching for their niche, rowing is a fantastic life-long sport to try. Additionally, rowing is a great off-season sport for student-athletes who want to return to their primary sport faster and stronger.
